Post by Dawgtired » Fri Feb 17, 2012 2:09 pm

Hello all,

my name is Robin and I'm new to the world of Trikings.

I'm off to see Alan tomorrow 18/02/12 to order my kit :D
Can I thank you all in advance, for the help and advice I have found on the site already and any you give me in the future.

All the best Rob.

Rob,
How exciting !!!! Just got back from running mine up in the garage, I use it in all but the worst weather, but have been limited by a chest infection over the last couple of weeks .
Not sure what part of the country you hail from, but as you are probably aware, there is a Triking Owners 'meet' scheduled for 18th 19th 20th May in the New Forest. This would be a good opportunity to meet other owners. Phil Whitter is the Guy to contact for details
Enjoy tomorrow, My regards Andy C

Andy,
I live just up the coast on Hayling Island.
Work permitting I do plan on having a trip over to say hello to you all.
I have spent months on the net, looking at the kit options and am now ready to put the order in.
I picked up a 1994 California 1100 doner bike with 39,000 miles on the clock.
The engine, gearbox and final drive are all good, and stripped out ready for cleaning.
Is it tomorrow yet
Rob.

I met up with Alan yesterday.
I learned a lot about the finer details of Trikings.
We put an order together for my kit and found out its cold without a coat on!
I felt like a kid in a sweet shop “I want one of those and one of those”
Just got to be patient now and wait for the big day.
Thanks again Alan,
Rob.

How's it going Dawgtired.
You must be well on the way now.
I'm waiting patiently for me to get my workshop ready for work to commence. :)

With a 10 month lead time, I'm guessing that Dawgtired will be getting his kit for Christmas!
